When we go to foreign tours for business and learning, it would be foolish to expect that we would not get visitors from other countries for the same reason. Besides, such matters are dependent on policies by the central and state government and not with municipal corporations. The only thing one must consider (and here I have doubts about the intelligence of the police community) that the colleges in the city should not give promotion to people from countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Somalia and Muslim countries. The reason is simple. These people have very less to lose in case they are caught doing illegal activities. It has been repeatedly observed that students from these countries repeatedly get involved in unlawful activities like drug business and weapons business. "Respected" people of pune should take care while renting appartments to these guys as they can get in trouble due to few more rupees. The gentlemen from Muslim countries needs a separate chapter to write on and can have very dubious relationships. We might an increased threat of islamic terrorism because of such "imported" and potentially dangerous individuals. Particularly stay away from students of countries/regions like Palestine, mid-east and Arab nations, Bangladesh & Pakistan, Muslims african countries (some of which are mentioned above, sudan etc.) and do not befriend them. Foreigners normally are polite if they are from western countries or eastern/south-eastern countries. It is a good thing to have more visitors as that boosts hotel business. It is a need of time to keep a watch on the other gentlemen i mentioned above. But considering the current Pro-Terrorists Italian congress government's "Islamisation of India" program, I think they would more than welcome visitors of such dubious credentials to help them in their work.

    Dhananjay,
What else can you expect from the people of a country who vote for a party that gives a prime minister who is controlled by a third entity, lies shamelessly to public and presents weakest display of power and communication whenever you see him? Many people say that Indians drive properly when they migrate to other countries. But, is it really their nature to do so? Or is it the fear of the Bamboo that works the magic? If you drive carelessly in US, and you get into an accident, the fact is recorded on your credit history. There is no such thing in India. Even if it is brought, people (who even oppose to helmet) would start demonstrations as it is our prime business. You see, it is not really about infrastructure; it is the the blood that is dirty.

    Neo,
You have touched a raw & sensitive, but very true point about the safeguarding the interests of a minority community to the hilt by the foreign "hand" ruling India through the backdoor!
2] Look at the remarks about a legitimately elected CM in Gujrat!
Not a word about killing of hundreds of Kashmiri pandits in J & K,but so many crocodile tears shed publicly about one late terrorist in Gujrat!
And most of our so called responsible newspapers[Sakal included] taking side of the congress party & writing editorials, while ignoring highly objectionable & provocative earlier remarks like "मौतका सौदागर" hurled at Shri.Modi.
3] The spunkless cronies of the congress president swallowing the drivel hook, line & sinker?
4] Do we want just any & every foreigner to visit us?
There is a news in another newspaper, whose link is given below that Chinese workers working on a Reliance pipeline in Pune district have beaten local people!

    http://www.pudhari.com/AantarangDetailNews.aspx?news_id=15110

Now-a-days,the country is being opened to plunder & recently, the Finance minister has acknowledged that the extraordinary gains in the share market by few are being used to fund terrorist activities in India!

    Anonymous,

Let me tell you this man! There will only be two superpowers in 2020. US and China. India will not be in the list. Whoever thinks we will be there, is daydreaming. The chinese will eat us in all sectors right from manufacturing to services. Their growth rate is tremendous and their dedication is superb. Just look at Beijing being transformed for the the olympics. Compare that with Shiela Dixit's Delhi getting geared for a very smaller version like commonwealth. See the interview of Sheila Dixit in Devil's advocate (taken by Karan Thapar) on ibnlive.com and you will know what I mean. She does not care! The event is rumoured to be taken back from India for lack of preparation and given to some other country and she does not care! What she says is "it will be taken care of". How? She does not have an answer. Chinese are lacking in only one thing. English. And they are making sincere efforts in filling the gap. The day they do it, we are wiped out on the services map of the world. Look what we offer. Overgrown egos, corrupt politicians, lack of infrastructure, lack of civic sense among citizens. We will be no better than, say, Iran in 2020. On top of that, politicians like Mayawati and her spoons in Maharashtra are day dreaming of a new revolution! Sharad Pawar and his "courageous" supporters, Congress and her "supporters", shivsena and her non-existent supporters; we do not have anything else to look at and discuss. These thugs have completely overtaken the national spectrum. Things like performance, cut-throat-competition in international and corporate level, the falling value of dollar and unnecessary rise in rupee; no politician discusses that. 20 Lac people are going to be unemployed due to the strengthening rupee and nobody knows that apart from the commerce minister. The prime minister discusses about narendra modi whenever we hear him. And in China, they are preparing to send a human on moon.

    India sucks!

    Neo,
The new Congress prince[kid] visited Gujrat to campaign for his [useless & very prejudiced] party & just hurled silly & stupid invective at Shri.Modi, who has been ruling & managing very capably his state Gujrat since many years.
Even the highly learned PM too lowered himself unnecessarily by making baseless accusations against the ruling party & CM in Gujrat.
The congress has always stooped to any abyssal depth to somehow try & capture power from opponents in few states, despite the fact that their own ruled states are a pathetic picture themselves.
With the multi-party politics & the shameless efforts to please a minority at all costs, the price the country is already paying is very heavy indeed!!!
