dear ciizens made corporaters more accountable

I am worried. new corporaters are becomes six month old. Not a single corporater did the exercise to meet the citizens from the wards, & let them know about what is mention in corporation`s budget. from my point of view corporaters should take small meetings in societies & localities & explain the budget provisions so citizens will aware about what exactly will happen in coming year.corporations are created for participation of more no of peoples, to create this culture corporaters should take initiative. My sincere request is also to the social organisation, instead of opposition party, this social organisation & informed citizens could make better role. if the culture of monitoring budget is developed this will be a big leap in strengthening democracy. if you are a responsible citizen are you aware which way your money will spent for civic amenities? what kind of development proposals are in budget? are provisions are according to your priorities ? i think we all should more proactive, then only corporaters will respond timely, otherwise they will publish their report cards according to their conveyance and after five years no meaning to ask any question. i would like to know how we will get better citizens & made corporaters more accountable.

This is the first ever discussion I have come across which reflects realization of Democratic process and Tax system.
To put it simple way: Government collects taxes from citizens and part of that money is used for development at ward/city/starte/nation level.
Corporaters must publish their allotment of money for ward development, it's expenditure, progress made on development projects and Cost-Time-Quality controls in place. Unless we as Indians don't understand this basic concept, corrupt politicians will continue to exploit us. How the hell elections are fought without mention of expenditure? How long we idiots are going to focus on caste and relegion diversions ?
